In collaboration with responsAbility and PisAgro, in January 2025, Nectary established a business networking event that focused on climate investment and sustainable financing solutions for Indonesia’s agriculture and food sectors. The event was meant to take us to take a closer look at the concept of climate investment, the latest trends and developments in Indonesia, inspiring case studies, as well as funding opportunities from responsAbility.
On October 30, 2024, Nectary had the opportunity to participate in the SMART SEED X event hosted by Sinarmas Agribusiness and Food. Representing Nectary, our CSO, Wahyu Wigati Wijayanti, was one of the speakers during the talk show session themed “Challenges and Opportunities in the Palm Oil Supply Chain Towards EUDR”. In this session, we shared our field experience in mapping and collecting data from independent smallholders to comply with EUDR regulations, which is also expected to assist in obtaining the Cultivation Registration Certificate (STDB). We highlighted the importance of building strong trust and collaboration with suppliers and farmers as a key step towards effective EUDR implementation.
Nectary has partnered with Olam Agri and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to launch the Sustainable Natural Rubber Initiative in Lampung Province, Indonesia! This initiative is a game-changer for smallholder rubber farmers, aiming to enhance their competitiveness, sustainability, and market inclusion while working towards deforestation-free rubber cultivation.
On November 4th, 2024, ANGIN and Rabo Foundation hosted a joint learning session to support Rabo’s portfolio companies in strengthening their understanding of ESG implementation through peer learning and engaging discussions. Nectary Sustainability Solutions was honored to be invited as one of the speakers for the first session, titled “ESG Implementation and Best Practices: Where Should Your Businesses Start?”
