On November 4th, 2024, ANGIN and Rabo Foundation hosted a joint learning session to support Rabo’s portfolio companies in strengthening their understanding of ESG implementation through peer learning and engaging discussions. Nectary Sustainability Solutions was honored to be invited as one of the speakers for the first session, titled “ESG Implementation and Best Practices: Where Should Your Businesses Start?”

Our CEO, Vidia Paramita, began by sharing how sustainability has become a core business practice and that aligning with ESG standards is crucial for gaining investor confidence and driving long-term value. We presented a structured approach for start-up companies to integrate ESG into their business strategies, emphasizing the importance of a clear vision aligned with industry standards and best practices. As part of this approach, we introduced tools such as stakeholder mapping and materiality matrix assessment to prioritize key ESG issues. We also highlighted the need to set performance targets for each issue to ensure continuous improvement, in alignment with stakeholder expectations and long-term business goals.
